The National Educational Panel Study (NEPS) is the largest long-term educational study in Germany. In seven initial cohorts, the skills development and educational trajectories of a total of over 70,000 participants are monitored - from early childhood to old age. In addition, around 50,000 people from their environment, such as parents and educational professionals, are surveyed.
NEPS now calls on researchers outside the NEPS network to submit proposals for new survey modules. Proposals are wanted on the topic “AI-based systems in educational contexts: Motives for use, knowledge, trust”. The deadline for submitting a short outline is October 30, 2025.
